ME LITTLE MAN
A Daghestani refugee, a professional wrestler settled in Germany ten years ago, is caught between his homeland's traditions and the values of his new country. The strict rules and roles division of his family strongly influence his daily life and decisions; these have also affected my relationship with them as female photographer in their context. I experienced his wrestling as a symbol of this daily struggle of balancing two worlds.
