The "Sheperd" mask stands wearing cowbells, before the boys start to walk around the village and make themselves hard with their cowbells, trumpets and whips, on January 13th, 2016 in Palanca, CalaraÅŸi, Republic of Moldova. The boys of the Malance use cowbells as instruments to make a lot of noise around the village in order to warn people of their passage bringing good wishes for the New Year.
